Inspired by a fern species called Maidenhair Spleenwort, this cowl pattern uses clever knitting techniques to create a completely seamless finish.
The material chosen is a rock-grey, ultra-soft Finnsheep wool yarn.

3.5 mm circular needle, 80 cm
3.5 mm circular needle, cable needle

tapestry needle for grafting
GAUGE: 20 sts x 44 rows = 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch on 3.5 mm needles before blocking
YARN: Sport weight wool or merino wool yarn.
YARDAGE:
135 g or 480 m Finnsheep carded wool yarn, Piessa Indy 360 m/100 g
A few meters of waste yarn for provisional cast-on
The cowl begins with a provisional cast-on, is worked flat, and finally joined into a tube by grafting.
The seam will be invisible. An integrated I-cord edge is worked simultaneously with the piece.
The texture features garter stitch, slipped stitches, elongated stitches, and cables.
The pattern includes video tutorials.
