A simple and beautiful adult cowl featuring an ingenious, seamless diagonal construction. The surface pattern is inspired by pine needles fallen on the last snowdrifts of spring.

NEEDLES AND NOTIONS:
4.5 mm circular needle, 80 cm
1 auxiliary circular needle, 80 cm

GAUGE: 18 sts x 36 rows = 10 x 10 cm in garter stitch on 4.5 mm needles, unblocked
YARN RECOMMENDATION:
Cascade 220 or Cascade 220 Heathers (100% Peruvian Highland Wool, 200 m / 100 g)
Malabrigo Yarn Rios (100% Merino, 192 m / 100 g)
YARN AMOUNT:
140 (150) 160 g of recommended yarn or at least 280 (300) 320 m of other Worsted weight yarn
The cowl is started with a Turkish cast-on and knitted flat in a triangular shape.
Finally, the edges are grafted together to form a seamless tube.
The join remains invisible.
The top edge of the work at the neckline features an I-cord edge.
The surface pattern is knitted in garter stitch and stockinette stitch.
