The cardigan is knitted top-down in garter stitch, with the body worked back and forth and the sleeves in the round with a circular needle
(or double-pointed needles). Short rows are worked at the back of the neck for a better fit.
The neckline, front edges, armholes, and bottom edge are finished with an I-cord edging simultaneously as the knitting progresses.
The yoke features fern cables, under which the yoke increases are hidden.
