TIPS FOR WORKING WITH UNSPUN WOOL!
Knit with a light touch.
Unwind the yarn from the plate in advance; do not pull while knitting.
In places where more tensile strength is needed (e.g., cast-on and bind-off rows), combine the unspun wool with a strand of lace weight yarn, such as Mohair.
Twist (roll) the yarn between your fingers in spots where it feels like it might break easily.
For example, before knitting 2 stitches together.
