TECHNIQUES:
The cardigan is knitted seamlessly from the top down in broken rib stitch.
The body is knitted back and forth, and short rows are used at the neckline to improve fit.
The neckline, armholes, and hem are finished with ribbing. The front edges, including buttonholes, are knitted in double knitting as the work progresses.
The sleeves are knitted in the round using the Magic Loop technique, and if desired, three contrast-colored stripes can be knitted on the forearm.
